I guess it depends on 'who is watching' on particular nights, feel for the crowd (any rowdy guests present?) and probably a little to do with security's mood that night. Be a real shame if they take all the fun out of theme nights though!
...that's the spirit; take your chances... At TTR, better to wear your "chances" than more clothes, 8 days a week!
The fat security guard I think has either replace "German" the regular head security guard or is filling in for him as he might be on vacation. Just watch for this guy, I spoke to Oliver about him, and Oliver pulled him aside into the buffet immediately. While we were all partying at PatyO's at night, he would pull you aside and hand you a note in English & Spanish and the note said "My kids are really sick and I don't make enough money here, can you help with a few dollars as a tip" After seeing him do this a few time to others I quickly went over to Oliver and explained the situation, outside of the fact the we don't really know his personal situation at home, if its true or flase, I found it rather rude the way he does that. First you think you're getting in shit for something and he wants to talk to you on the side lines, then he hands you this note to feel guilty. The whole time I observed him doing this he basically leaned back against the far end of the burger station where the cold table is in the early evening hours and really didn't do his job. Mean while I am also not having to watch the bar tenders & waitress' work their asses off for a few tips here and there, which probably gets split amongst themselves and a percentage then goes to the rest of the house, just like a normal restaurant does. Oliver chewed him a new one in the buffet right in front of the double doors leading inside it and they were there a good 10 minutes, so I am not sure if this has been corrected, but he is still there when we left. Please say hello to Oliver & Pedro for us and the rest of the crew.
it changes every year....sometimes they are strict and sometimes not. My husband has been bare ass naked on the bar and no one cared our first year, to him not being able to take off his shirt the following year. So like others have said, I think it depends on who is working, what the crowd is like, and what resort theme is in the works at that time.
Don't get me started about security. Complete idiots. Their attitude change from one night to the other. The only standing rule is NO getting up on the chairs or tables at Paty'o, anything else it depends how the seucrity is feeling and whether or not they are too busy texting updating their Facebook. ONe night I was harrassed by a Single (Yes again) and couldn't shake of the B***, the altercation became physical and the bulldog/fat security guy and another were standing 4 steps behind me and they did not move. When the next day dear Tim & Nora heard about it and how frightened I was to walk around the hotel, they took me to the Head of security who in turn escorted me around the premises until spotted that guy. i witness many other incidents at Paty'o involving some degrading/rude behaviour from the Singles towards women and security did not move a little finger. Same when topless body shots and other fun things happened, the security guys did not move...
There is rules but it is limited to how close security boss is and if he is pushing them to enforce them.
