Just as a reminder to all, please feel free to use the report button on the left hand side of a post: While I (or a Moderator) usually spot spammers threads, it's not so easy to spot a spam post in the middle of a genuine thread. We are currently getting 250 attempted sign ups a day from spammers using automated software! 99% are blocked but a few do get through. I've changed all the security questions so hopefully it will slow down for a while.
I would like to be able to keep in touch with my son while we are away. We will be able to text but it would be nice to FaceTime with him if at all possible!! First time being away from him ever!!!
My company pays for the international package when I am away, its their way of FU cking me hehe. I told them that I keep my phone in the safe and check it once a day tops.
We are members and get the free wifi. I am old and get up early as shit most days. I check my email and check whatever sports or news threads I want to read before Annette gets up. The ipad hits the safe after that the pool bar opens in the morning. Kind of the best of both worlds.
I just got a Mexican Telcel sim card at the mall and activated data on it. It was ~$15 bucks for the sim and then I put about 30 bucks on it which gave around 2GB for up to 15 days. When we go back in april I'll just add some more credit to it online and you just txt the activation code for the data package when you get there. Good and fast internet all over cancun. My phone works as a wifi hotspot too so I let others use my phones internet to check stuff. It's nice to have sometimes, and for a lot less than what the hotel charges.
Internet I was told that well known coffee shop has free internet in cancun and its decent shudnt ov said. Lol :uk1::lurking:
W both already have FaceTime. He has it on his iPod and I have it on my phone and iPad so was hoping to use that. I know I can be an international text plan so we can text each other but would still like to see him
