I just copy and pasted this from an earlier post this morning to Deb and Jeff and hoping Glenn and Monique let us know soon... Here is what I know.. Talked to Jim this morning. and he "is" able to get the room from his buddy.. (at a great rate) what we dont know is how much has been collected and how much more we need to get this done.. my "guess" is we have 1125.00 including Bryans but as I said I dont know how much has been sent in today.. Wentcrazy has offered but dont know if it was sent..and I know you are waitng as well Deb. As of yesterday there are still a few that have not sent it in.. so that has put us back a bit..
Let us know if you still need money. I would be happy to contribute, looks like we will be there the same time. Lisa
OK.. at the risk of sounding crass but truly not meaning to.. Glenn mentioned that he was having a hard time in some cases of matching up donations to those that pledged because of the difference between screen names and real names. Also those that have donated, and never used PayPal before might not have a warm and fuzzy that their money when through to the right people. So Glenn may be awaiting a donation that was thought to be made already. So if Glenn can maybe send PMs to those that he has received donations from and those that he has not it might clear up some of the confusion. Now if perchance you volunteered in the moment but upon further reflection are able to contribute, no worries. We totally understand. It's happen to all of us at one time or another. If that's the case, please let Glenn know so that he can know who he is truly still waiting on and maybe contact some of the later volunteers to fill in the spaces. Don't mean to take over, just making a suggestion and hopefully in a way that continues the true spirit of this undertaking and brings us to the finish line. Jamie
