I'm a newb. Have never been to Cancun but will probably make it this year. Where is this market y'all speak of?
There's 2 markets...Market 28 and Market 23. Market 28 is where most tourists go and it is more tourist oriented than Market 23 whcih is where many locals do their daily shopping. Both are in downtown Cancun which you should not confuse with the hotel zone. You can take a bus to Market 28. Just get off the Wal-Mart stop and it's a short walk basically aroudn the block. Or you can just grab a taxi and go. Depending on where youa re int eh hotel zone, expect to pay anywhere for $5-10 to get there.
