Most of the resort including the front lobby has the same issue. We changed rooms twice, and were offered at least three other rooms that we looked at and passed on with them having the same issue.
Supposedly it is an issue with the "Chiller", and I have no idea if that is actually what it is or not. It's not like they are dealing with Florida temps in July. If they could drop the temp a couple of degrees it would be fine.
OOhh no, hopefully they get it fixed Bart, if there was a Boobs Cruise in Jamaica, we wouldn't even think twice, I think some of the aggrevation is coming from the rising costs, from march 2-9th this year its gonna cost us 4300 and the rise was not in the airfare, so I know what you mean.
I don't believe costs are rising at all. You're traveling at the height of high season, so you'll definitely pay more. Year to year we pay the same or less than the prior year. The most we paid was in 2006...$1200 each for 7 days including airfare from Minneapolis. We paid that for 12 days last May and just booked May 2015 for the same price. Prices for travel are always fluid and change day to day...it takes some effort, but I always manage to pay the same or less than the prior year. Just saw your anniversary date...so that explains why you go in March. You should have gotten married in May, like our friends Adam and Stacy. You'd save some money!!
We are the Same Way, we don't Need AC at all to enjoy ourselves. Heck We Only turn it on once in a while almost all of them exclusively when we are done a nice long sweaty fuck session and we both need to cool off. But hey, I usually go when it warm and full up in May. So if people want to opt out due to their fear of the weather it make me happy to know Us getting a nice room with a nice view won't be a problem. The Alberta Weather right now is cold as balls. I woke up to warm up the Car over the weekend to get an early start to the weekly errands, right out of Bed and my eyes were all teary, tears froze to my face in less then 30 seconds. Now I'm Not complaining about the Cold Alberta weather. I'm just saying I have a little perspective, and will be happy when we both soak up the sun, without any of the First world problems and First world complaining mentality. Just grateful for the time in the sun. Hope Everyone is Having a great New Year! And Can't wait to go back to Paradise!!
Well said...all of it. Especially the "Cold as Balls" weather comment. I always struggle with the Celsius to Fahrenheit conversion...so "Cold as Balls is my new go-to phrase with my Canadian and Brit friends.
Our biggest reason for the AC is to help with the humidity...I can't sleep at all when its hot and humid. And since we typically go in the warmer months (end of May and September) it had better be fixed by then!
I'm sure Wal-Mart sells fans its so cold here where we are I think I could live,But I love going to Cancun Wal-Mart,
