There is as many people with their tops on as off. The first time we went we were nervous like most. I have no self esteem and thought I would never take my top off. 20+trips later I can't wait to get to the pool and set the girls free! It is so liberating. Just cause your topless doesn't mean it's a sex thing either. We've been to other places with topless sunbathing but yes TTR are is much more open. Ask her to join Cancuncare and do some research and questioning on her own. Lots of couples on here each have their own account. People on this forum are so helpful and honest. And many on here have gone for years! It really is a wonderful community. I think she'll love it. It's not all about the "lifestyle" either. It is whatever you want it to be. People get too hung up on that and miss out on an awesome time. Like they said before it truly is an adult spring break and the resorts motto is "Nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit!" lol

Our first trip I was soooo nervous about everything. Melissa wasn't, she pulled her top off the exact minute we reached the pool. After an hour on two I relaxed and now we've been multiple times. Like others have said itcan be very liberating.

This was my wife's experience on our first trip as well. Now she doesn't even bother packing tops. We've also done the nude resorts as well. Nothing like being naked and not caring.

We had a similar experience--booked the resort online because it was adult only and we liked the idea of a sexy vibe, THEN I freaked out and got really scared and afraid it would be too much for me. All that went away as soon as we got there and saw how friendly and respectful everyone was.

If she's curious and open to the idea of being around topless people, I think she'll be fine.

 

Everyone is so respectful and laid back you will be comfortable in no time. When you look around you'll notice everyone having normal conversations topless with no malice. We love TTR
