There's no "bad" time to go; I've heard December, January can be on the chilly side. But the staff is always great, bartenders work their butts off, and the other TTR guests are the best! Fun, great bunch of party animals. All that said, we have gone in April and it is a particularly fun bunch.
Probably anytime is a great time to go. If looking at April...you should look to the April Addicts, If May, look up the Mayhem Group. We went in June and the June Junkies were awesome. You will find great groups who are always happy to give tips, guidance and advice. Participate in the themes and games. Bring a couple bathing suits and outfits you think are too sexy...you will be more comfortable than you think. And book the Boobs Cruise. Enjoy!!! EDIT: I should have looked at your pictures before responding. I see you are already quite comfortable and will bring the sexy...you will have a blast!
