I just shake my pointer finger in a side to side motion and shake my head no and keep on walking. Might be rude but it works in Cancun and Cabo every time.
That's not true. We did the express check in last year and weren't bugged at all. We had no sales pitch what so ever.
Just walk on by and ignore them we were the ones who avoided them every time we went to TTR. And this past year we decided to try Desire. Now we're members. It just seemed like the right fit for us. It's not really a timeshare. We like to think of it as a "club" membership. We basically prepaid for our future vacations.
I have a question for all the non first timers like us. Do they have any good cigars at the resort or near by to buy? I know in the Dominican they did and Jamacia they did at the resorts we were at but not sure about Temptations.
You really should start your own thread for this question. Not meaning this hostile but it has nothing to do with her original question.
To be fair, being a member does have some nice perks such as better room, some free spa services, nicer towels, better booze and so on. Yes, the presentation is total cheddar and yes, it is expensive, but may be worth it to you. :deadhorsethink that's a guy beating a dead horse or some really funky beasty bdsm thing - lol)
We have done the express check in the past 2 trips and we were not really bugged either. just a quick question along the lines of "would you like to hear more about the resort" and a polite no takes care of it. I do not believe it really saves any time and I wonder if everyone gets shoved over to "the woman at the desk trying to get you to do timeshare presentation" right after checking in at the front counter.
