Ha! You just beat me to it, Steve I would also add that things change, and that a (search) result from 2 years ago might not be accurate today. George
I should also say that we have 700 or so members log in every day, but we have an even greater number of people who visit each day, don't post anything and just read. For our community to grow further we need to welcome newbies and not scare off those who post for the first time, not necessarily knowing how the site works and that their question may have already been answered long before they found us.
if u search a question there could be old answers and things might of changed . u will never get to know people on here if u just read.
there are no two threads alike.... we all get annoyed at certain things, but I believe that while one may be annoyed, another may be learning intently. "let's live and let live and eventually PARTY!!!!" and oh, by the way, is there free wifi....? lol
This is exactly why we joined this forum, 1 sorta negative post followed by 13 or so positive ones, pretty good ratio! Thanks to the addicts for making any newbie, who reads this thread, still feel good about asking questions. While I'm at it, when we travel we usually bring a couple of items with wi-fi compatability, does anyone know if they have free.......Sorry:icon_smile:
Threads tend to digress off topic, often in funny ways, so I say bring on the questions, newbies! It keeps the members talking to each other thru the year. Zurc will confirm that I am one of the biggest offenders in dragging a thread off topic! It's only been a bit more than a year when I was a newbie, and I remember having a lot of trepidation about what I would find at TTR especially cuz I was travelling alone. I got a lot of comfort out of the help repeaters gave me here. So now I cheerfully answer over and over again the same questions I used to ask!
Just because you cant stay focused and lose your train of thought easily don't go dragging me with you for changing thread topics. This has nothing to do with bubba kegs and the beach dinner questions that were being asked!
An FAQ with links (3 per question) to the threads of the most redundant questions would be helpful - really helpful for first time visitors: What age ranges are at Temptations? What alcohol do they serve? What is Premier? Do I have to do the Timeshare presentation? Transportation to/from airport? Internet access? Do I have to take my top off? Where do I find the theme nights? Do people participate? What is the Boobs Cruise? Is everyone looking like Ken & Barbie? Whats the weather like? What are the best rooms? What are the worst rooms? What kind of food do they serve? What clothes should I bring? What do people wear for lingerie night? What time do i need to be up to reserve a pool side lounge? How late are the pools open? I'm single, will I have a good time? Hooligan single Brits in March/April? Can I take photos? Pre-tanning rituals and sunscreen? If folks have more questions - they can "bump" a thread rather than creating a new one every other day.
