i was tanked on my 1st day kept using the GF's tanning oil instead of sun screen and got a nice burn on the 1st day, kinda put a hamper on the fun had to self medicate so i wouldn't feel the burn lol
The great white norf folks generally are sporting a brilliant/radiant white skin tone this time of year so arriving in the tropical sun certainly can become a deterrent to fun especially after enjoying a little lubrication of the non sun blocking kind. For me it seems a better idea to re-acclimate our skin to the glorious sun rays prior to our arrival in Cancun. I know it is difficult to lay around in the deep snow and negative temps in order to get some sun but it is well worth the effort for the fun you'll have at TTR.
They have some good oils with SPF 30,, i find they protect better and keep you skin moisturized on the breezy days ,, they do wash off in the pool though
Newbies Just a recommendation, if you do not have a little tan, go tan and get one started. Like someone else said, watch out for the 1st Day! You start having fun and don't pace yourself and then you ruin the next day or two of your vacation. Remember, it is not a sprint but a marathon! Richest and say hi to people, you will find that they are the nicest people at TTR!
