We will be there December 30 - January 4th. After checking out the past NY parties we were super excited about the 2020 New Years party. Wellllll we just found out the theme........ it's "Where is Waldo" We are really looking forward to the trip but this "Where is Waldo" theme kinda kills the excitement for us. There is nothing exciting, fun or sexy about Waldo. It'g going to be a bunch of people dressed as the same character with red stripes and hats on. Whaaaa . Anyway, regardless of theme we will have a blast and should be seeing you all there. I just wish they had chosen a more fun sexy theme such as Great Gatsby, Fav Comic Character, Victorias Secret etc....
Hi Everyone, we will be there over New years. Coming in Dec 30th to Jan 5th, our third time going. We were there just after New Years last year and the weather was warm, can't wait to see the sexy Waldo costumes. That's a weird thing to say!
We are thinking of doing a different theme. If enough do it the ones that show as Where’s Waldo will think they are wrong haha
We've sent our party's disappointment to them, as if it will do anything. So, yeah, open to something more appropriate. Based on comments from last year the theme was lame then too. Not sure how they got off track so far.
So let's pick a different theme and make a concerted effort to have all participate. We have done 10 NYE @ TTR and always done the theme every time but absolutely will not do this one. Goddamn ridiculous and TTR should be embarrassed promoting it on website. The lamest thing we have ever heard! What's next Dora the Explorer? Or Pacman? Maybe next year we can do Betty Boop and Archie! Whatever happened to consulting with the hardcore NYE guests about a theme? (The resort sure needs better creativity and maybe bring back Victor Madeira who overseen the best damn theme party ever for the epic enclosing party.) "Roaring Twenties" just a quick idea as I read this thread not even sure I like the idea, but better than Waldo! Hell most anything is better Let's brainstorm folks and settle on something before mid November so ppl can plan Throw out some suggestions
