I dont think so Terry....I didnt even use my membership, got a great airfare, and got a really good "deal" somewhere else... I dont have as much invested as you guys do, I was very wary of it from the get go. They had me up there for 4 hours, and finally I just bought the minimum package. Last year they tried to get me to upgrade and I told them to go to hell. So I dont even think they want to see me this year, lol. I havent paid my maint fee either, so when we come back to the resort again we will probably just book with apple for expedia....for the AI fee they charge us, it just seems cheaper....so I dont get lobster for free, if I want it I will pay for it. the whole think leaves a very very bad taste in my mouth, and if I can let as many people know as possible without getting kicked out of the resort I will.
I guess it you could look at it as a very expensive lobster dinner, to bad it is not that good! Terry
Just saw a deal from Hobbit Travel in Minneapolis, MN--$129 RT airfare to Cancun--with taxes, $229!! Even if I were able to use my worthless points, it still isn't hardly worth the hassle!! I've sent a few emails to RCI in the last few days--they don't have much to say for themselves either, do they??
Was that just the flight or the stay too? Yea, dont expect to hear back from RCi any time soon, emailed them 6 month ago about why they did this to us, to get something in writing , still not heard back from them. Terry
