Has anyone ever thought about heading down to their local Travel agency? Our travel agent came in a little cheaper than a lot of online sites and then they take care of all the details. You get to know people personally, so if you have a problem you can pick up the phone and give them a call. I really like dealing locally.
We booked through a travel agency here in the city (for slightly cheaper than expedia). It was nice because we have never done this before and like you said, they take care of all the details.
That is a great idea, I always used to use my local travel agent and I still call her before each trip, She knows that as of a few years ago its hard for her to compete, mainly because my travel agency can not use the discounted airlines, like jetblue etc. But I still give her a shot each year, since Continental comes in close.
Agree with the travel agent idea. We have done that every year and it has been really nice, don't have to worry about missing something or forgetting something that way, plus they have been just as cheap as any online deals we have found!
