No I think you will only have 5 hours now. Eastern time is closer to your time zone so less of a difference.
This is good news. It would be nice if they implemented it now. The sun goes behind the building at like 430 this time of year. Which also makes us wonder what the management is thinking about the new "tower" they plan on building. The sexy pool will fall in the shade even sooner!!
Anything official on when the time zone change goes into effect? I'm really hoping it does before Feb 21st!
I read somewhere that the change will take place in April, but who knows. We are talking about Mexico.......It could be two years from now!! It might take that long to get the permits LOL
Ir was reported that we'd change when we normally change the clocks in the spring, that would mean April 6. I also heard that although it was approved it hasnt yet been put into law, and that there is some opposition to it. So the answer as to when it will actually happen, is who knows.
I see that Omar posted on Facebook that the time change goes into effect on February 1st. I am assuming that our flights and USA Transfer times will automatically be adjusted. We get in on Feb. 6th. We would have been there at 4, but now I guess we will be there at 5.
