It would have been a lot cheaper for them to clean the mold and scum out of the rooms, upgrade the A/C system, repaint it blue and rename it, oh say, Blue Bay Getaway!
Saxophones for dinner music, and apparently dudes with hairy bodies will be elsewhere. I think I might be out of my element.
Feels like the end of an era. I'm not sure we'll be able to afford this. Everyone knew TTR was a cheaper option, not exactly 5* treatment but it was still awesome regardless. Now this will bump the price. I just hope they know what they're doing...could be a very costly mistake in my opinion, if the cost outweighs the benefits.
It looks like the remodel starts Sept 25th until August 2017. Does that mean they are closing the place totally? We were planning to go mid-November. Are we just s.o.l.?
If you've already booked you'll either be relocated to another Resort or get a refund. I've seen a lot of comments about folks who had bought their airfare for the closing., and are now looking for somewhere else to stay. I think there's going to be more to come on that, there seems to be some conversation around what the favorite fallback Resort will be to Temptation for the closing.
