    Damn, that's a bummer shut down. Did they yell up to stop or knock on the door? I feel like I wouldn't have heard/stopped if they were just at the door.

    Would you recommend these rooms for the future? Was the noise bad at night and the day? I feel like I will probably request rooms around the quiet pool moving forward (just cause it is so close to everything), but these rooms may also peek my interest.

    We had the opposite experience with the rooms around Paty-O's. In fact, we stayed in 2103 for three consecutive trips. It certainly was noisy but you couldn't beat the quick access to our room, and our small garden patio was nice. Straight out of our door, up four steps, down four steps, and we were at Paty-O's. Stephie loved it for quick stops at the room. My question is, we were really hoping to find a similar room this time but have no idea which ones to ask for. What we really want to avoid it looking at the street, or the backside of another wall. Garden view works for us, and certainly a pool view would be great but we aren't members so I'm not sure what we qualify for. And we can deal with any noise but the close access would be great. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    We stayed in the room above the quiet pool in the corner (indicated below). This was pretty decent for a garden view, but the tree was blocking the ocean view. If you look closely you can see a square in the corner. This is a large balcony area that is shared by the other two corner rooms. If anyone in one of these 3 rooms were on their balcony, you would have zero privacy. This could be a good or bad thing depending on your neighbors.

    The best part of these rooms was the closeness to everything.

    Also, in this map it doesn't show that the tower is actually connected to the two buildings on either side of it. So you can make your way into the lobby by way of a short walk up steps and over a connecting hallway.

    Thanks Steve! We've never had an ocean view unless you looked around the corner, so no big deal there. And we were on the ground floor and made friends with the neighbors anyway. Good info!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    It was one of the refurbished rooms (not part of the tower), kind of a wing/angled section. It is set behind the ramp, so probably the floor below us (2nd floor) would have view blocked of the sexy pool. And as said earlier, the first floors view might not be able to see the ocean or sexy pool. It is also on the same level as the lobby, out the door next to the Asian/Hibachi restaurant.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    - after a bit of yelling and cheering from our admirers in the pool, a guard walked down the ramp and waved us to take it inside.
    - yeah, if they knocked on the door I'm sure we wouldn't have heard. Or, would we have heard ?? ;)
    - great location & view
    - noise from 10 am to 3 am. Morning pool entertainment speakers and Bash is so loud, even with ear plugs you can still hear some. We ended up also taking a shot of NyQuil before bed. I should own stock in NyQuil, with my work schedule, how often I take it. We would also often be in the large jacuzzi until 2, 3, or 4 am, so those times it wasn't too bad. If you went straight to sleep, because 10 am rolls around real fast.
    - our room for the 1st night was just to the right of ScubaSteve & the Elyse. In his upload of the resort map the room was by the word "relax". The ocean view we paid for was basically nonexistent in that room.
    Hahahaha yeah night time I could probably deal. 10am though, not sure how I feel about that. Probably would have helped making that 11am breakfast at sea flirt easier though...which was pretty much impossible for me.
    Reading everyones comments on the noise makes me wonder if another advantage of the tower rooms is better insulation from the noise. In Steves picture we were basically on the end where the '16' number is. So close to the pool and Bash. And while I could hear some noise with the doors closed it was nothing like the noise we used to experience in the old rooms which while renovated I am sure did not have sound proofing updates.
