Thanks, didn't mean to turn this into a 'thanks steve' thread :icon_redface::icon_redface: The record got further beaten tonight: This is just people who logged in though in a 24 hr period. For every person who logged in we have another 2 guests who read stuff without logging in. Total number of visits today (includes people who visited more than once and people who didn't log in) 4,201. 3rd Jan 2012 was 3,144.
My guess is its around 10 or 20 people like myself who are visiting a lot. With some others visiting a lot less often. It's so easy on your phone to just click on site. I might do it 20 times a day myself , just out of habit and kill time while at work. I would imagine some do that even more.
There are more than 10-20 people who visit a lot 872 is the number of different people who visited while logged in during 24 hrs. It doesn't count them more than once and excludes people who didn't log in, or don't have an account but just browsed. That's the stat I tend to pay attention to. I don't really pay much attention to the total number of visits because I know some people will visit many times during a day and it will count them more than once. Do you use the forumrunner app for your phone?
So does it help you if we log out and log back in again each day? I just stay logged in on my home computer, but if it makes the stats better for your advertisers I will be happy to log out and in again daily
No, doesn't help in terms of ads. It's still one person whether you log in 1 time or 20 I just follow the number of members that log in since that is the most reliable metric to show growth or not.
lol yes some of us do (ME) is on here multiple times a day. Reading all the new stuff makes the days go by faster til the next time I can get there. Or live vicariously through others who are getting ready for their vacation or just got back.
