Why is it when I read ‘new environmental tax’ the first thing I thought of is ...uh oh I hope they are not taxing fake boobs due to the effect of silicone/saline on the ‘environment’. This is what happens when you spend too much time on ccc and day dreaming about your TTR trips.
Nothing to be alarmed about. First, it's about a dollar a day. I dont think it will break anybody's bank. Second, even if it is in force (which is disputable) most hotels will just absorb the cost. We did go to a hotel with our kids in the Riviera Maya about 6 months ago and were charged it on check in. But we have been to TTR 10 times since, the latest being 2 weeks ago and it wasn't even mentioned. Chill guys
OMG...we can no longer afford to vacation at TTR or in Cancun! A whole US dollar a day is jus unbearable. Looks like we will have to staycation
I agree with joe and Heidi’s dislike. Kind of ridiculous @FakeNewsTeam that you are not going to TTR again over a dollar s day tax
