EL PADRINO'S has just opened on Tulum. The owner is Cory, who had the Pizza Place in the curve at the corner of Coba and Kabah. EL PADRINO'S is between Chedraui and Ultra Femme, on the same side of Tulum. If any tourists read this, take the R-1 and get off at the first stop when the bus makes the right turn onto Av. Tulum. Cross the street and it has an easy to see sign, in the second block to the right of the big grocery store. I have been there twice and had 3 different pizzas, all great. Beer and wine, satellite TV with sports, a nice little bar, great friendly service, decent prices. Cory said they also serve breakfast with things like Eggs Benedict. Open at 8 am but I have yet to try the breakfast. Suggest giving this place a try. Casual dining with an expanding menu coming soon according to the owner. T.J.
