Just got back, Had the DROP'S OF LOVE PACKAGE was worth every cent they pamper you all the time. Loved the extra attention from Naomi and Daniala
like the rest of us you will be hooked. just go with the flow & relax. i would not even think about driving. after you get on the bus you will see why. just hold on & watch for your stop. lol. we will be waiting for your trip report.
Don't let whatever negative reviews you've seen scare you. I've read a few of those, and most are either: 1) full of shit; 2) spoiled ass rich people who are used to 5-Star hotels and are just whining because TTR isn't the kind of super-luxury hotel they're used to, but whose complaints are the kind of thing the average traveler wouldn't even think to notice; or 3) people who didn't do their homework and know what kind of hotel TTR was in the first place, and thus upset when it turned out to be something other than what they were expecting - often this group of reviewers also happen to be in group #2 as well. So yeah, I don't think I've come across many negative reviews that actually gave any good reasons for concern. You'll be fine.

No worries!! Don't rent a car, public transit is always available and cheap. If you take a taxi, negotiate the price in advance. If you know Spanish it will help in negotiations. LOL If not, ask one of the guys from the resort to help you and they will. :cigar: Just let your hair down and have fun. You will meet lots of great people if you just relax and enjoy. The games are fun and great ice breakers. You can be a participant or just watch, either way it is fun. Meet the staff they are really great and will make your trip more enjoyable. People tend to be very open and friendly, so it is not difficult to meet and make new friends at TTR. JUST HAVE FUN!!:huepfen013::huepfen013::huepfen013: Oh...don't worry about the reports. TTR is a place where you can have as much or as little fun as you want too. I have been several times and it is always different. The bad reports you have been reading are probably from the same week (the last one in March.) If so, the incidents talked about were rare and shouldn't be a problem. (I was there that week and am chalking it up to a few bad apples.) Like every resort TTR is not for everyone. As long as you have an open mind and like to have fun...you will want to come back next year! LOL :aetsch004::headbanger:

do not visit the sister resort.It is a family resort with a very small pool and one bar, no excitement.Altho they had added a kids water park last dec. which looks really cool but for adults it pretty boring.We stayed there for our first trip ever,we jsut booked the cheapest place at the time and wandered over to TTR one afternoon and wished we had known about TTR,we have never tried any other resorts in cancun.We have been to dominican for weddings we were in and wished to be at TTR.You ill have a blast and will meet great people. http://seaadventure.originalresorts.com/home.
