Suggest you phone West Jet as last thing you want is to get turned back at the airport. Perfume is fine and never had an issue but if worried you could put it in the safe. Not sure what your trying to ask about check in?

Good luck! I had mine expiring exactly 6 months to the day I was returning...not even a second look...probably a safety zone within that...like when I tell people at work I need something in a week and really it's a month
They recommend that your passport be valid for 6 months from the time you return from your trip, in case you get stuck there for any number of reasons. Jodie just got hers renewed instantly, dropped it off on Friday and picked it up on Monday morning, flew to Mexico on Tuesday. Yes we always leave things last minute lol. The other issue which is as important as that is to make sure your passport is in perfect condition, No wrinkles, no folded pages, no water spots etc etc. We were told it has something to do with the Canadian / Mexican government with regards to immigration rules that Canada has implemented, so Mexico counter offered the perfect passport condition. The reason why the flight operator wants your passport in good condition is that if they let you on and you get to Mexico, but Mexico says no its no good, the flight operator will get a fine and also have to pay your way back home. This was told to us by a few flight operators (Sun Wing, American Airlines, & West Jet) Best of luck and enjoy your trip
