Thanks Carole! My friend's wife slipped and fell and a shiny marble floor shortly after check in. I didn't hear from them because she had 14 stitches being put in her face! And a PR person hovering to have them sign a release, which they did not deal with. He is a reporter, like I was, and when I told them that Mexico really offers little recourse for liability, he said they probably wouldn't sign anything because they tried too hard to get them to sign!
