This exact posting on Facebook got ended by the admins, not sure what there is to gain by posting it here as well. Are you trying to squeeze the resort for something? If you got randomly hit by a guest, how could the resort be liable? For example, if I get up right now and go punch the guy (I would love to punch who sits 15 feet next to me in my office), can he then sue my employer because it happened in the building? The answer is NO, the end. I can't see how one can even think there could be a claim against the hotel for a "random unprovoked" assault on premises, unless it was a hotel employee that hit you. And just to add....if you can hear gunshots from the street, while your balcony door was closed, you're must have the hearing senses of Daredevil. And therefore would have never been hit by a sucker-punch.
