We always pack our workout clothes and go to TTR with the intention of working out, but we're lucky if we get in even one trip to the gym during the week. The combination of dehydration (from drinking) and exhaustion (from partying late into every night) isn't great motivation to hit the weights. Besides, the body needs a good week off now and then. And you'll have another 12 months until next April to pull things together again!
I work out year-round, but I cut out dessert, salt and fizzy drinks about two weeks before a trip to get rid of any random bloat. It's kind of a "cheater's diet." As for three times a day...I think that's a weird paradox of TTR: the more people we get to know and want to hang out with, the less time we have for nookie!
SO TRUE...GUESS I'll SEE YOU IN THE GYM. AFTERWARDS WE WILL DESERVE A SHOT I have to work for 3 months when I get back to lose it too.[/QUOTE] QUOTE=glenn/monique;553447]Welll gonna have to blind fold you when we make you drink shots then, just kidding. Me too, I used to run every morning, play water polo, play volleyball and I still gained 5 lbs every trip. It's the biggest pain in the ass ever and nope
We will have the workout clothes, Tony has to have a workout in the gym for his mental well being.. me I just tag along (most of the time).
I have been working out like crazy so I can take a break when we get out there. Isn't there water aerobics. Lol
WOW - there is a gym at TTR??? I knew it was there when we went last October, but never once felt the need to locate it. I should use it when we are there in October, but that cuts into the party time (boo to that). In the real world, I work out twice a day, so while I am on vacation, no way will my ass be in the gym.
We had a room right next to the gym last time....does that count as a workout by osmosis or something like that ?!
