Ooooh, nice little weekend there in Rome. Great pics! I'm allergic to cats though, so I would not have spent my time visiting the critters. BTW –Italians are famous for being rather aggressive when they see something they like. Any dudes proposition you or pinch your ass, Henry?
As this is Rome in the winter and not Cancun in spring ... Being moved to the free for all. Great pics!
Good photo's Henri, cant be arsed to read the TR but hope you had a good time non the less   Ian
   Excellent report and Beautiful pictures!!!   Besides your fancy dinner, what were the prices like for other meals and hotel charges?
Other meals are about $30-$40Euros all in on average. Most hotels are expensive in Euro and even more expensive in US$. The rate of the place we stayed at, Trilussa Palace Hotel, is $400Euro/night on their website. I found this voucher on ebay, 3 nights at Trilussa plus $40Euro off minibar + free breakfast + bottle of wine. The starting price was $200Pounds and nobody except me bid on it so I got a $1000+ hotel for $500. For our extra day, we stayed at Eurostar International closer to the main train station. It's only a little over $100 a night on expedia. It's one of the very few cheap hotels that got really good ratings on tripadvisor.
