A 1963 Ford Fairlane in 1973, a 1968 Chevelle in 1974, (hate to tell this next one) a 1975 Ford Maverick, 1980 Chevy 4x4 pickup, 1982 Chevy pickup, a bunch of family cars and vans, 1992 Olds Toronado (almost my fav), 1998 Firebird, AB has had a couple of free Mary Kay cars....

Now we have a 2006 CTS, a 2007 GMC Duramax crew cab, a 1971 SS Chevelle, & and old 1977 Chevy truck.

Don't know what will come next, either a 2008 CTS, or a couple year old Vette.

    wow, fun thread :D

I had a 1982 Chevy S-10, I believe it was 1990 when I got it. I drove the crap outta that little truck...literally...lol we were driving down a residential street, at an undisclosed speed, hit a known bump in the road...lost my transmission.

thought I was saved from the crappy truck...but my aunt/uncle had it fixed (grr) and a few months later, I was dating Kevin...he had a brand new pickup...well, he wanted me to come to dinner at his parents house, I was working at the grocery store (I was 17)....I called to ask my family, they said no....so, like a good girl, I left work early and went anyway. My supervisor (who was also young, covered for me) I leave to go one way to Kevin's parents house, he goes another (they live out in country, 3 different ways to get to their house). So...I'm going to beat him in his new truck, right? Well, almost did....except my route was a bit more dangerous...the road name was "Meander Rd"...and it meandered a lot...lol...I was going about 70mph around a 90 degree left turn...didn't quite make it...almost...I made the turn, was in the ditch going the right direction, but that dang telephone pole was in the way.

Needless to say, the truck didn't make it...I did, with only a scratch on my forehead...I hit the windshield...no seatbelt....miracle. Middle of nowhere...luckily a ranch hand was leaving a ranch at that time (dark already) and I caught up to him before he got out of his gate....he drove me to Kevin's parents house where Kevin knew something was up, because even at normal speeds, I should have beat him.

Well, I started out with my mom's 66 mustang till I started tearing it up, then got 78 sunbird, 82 corolla, 84 cutlass, another 80 sunbird, 88 mighty max, 90 mighty max, etc. etc. too many to list but in total I have had roughly 26 different cars since I started driving in 1982.

I can feel your pain on the trans, I had the engine drop out off my sunbird road racing one night. darn speed bumps. Also hydroplaned in the same car, went thru a paved ditch and airborn about eye level with the school bus I was passing and landed back on the road. broke or cracked every weld in the frontend but no body damage. Can you believe the dealer fixed it for free after I mentioned welds are required to be stronger the metal they hold together. Welding class did come in handy for something. (but so did knowing the general manager of the dealership)

WOW - Well I have been driving legally since I was 14 due to an error on my birth certificate and the DMV in Campbell County Tennessee. All I had to do was drive around Woodson's Mall and show them that I could parallel park
With that being said, The first ride that I owned was my dad's old 1987 full size GMC 4x4 Blazer which he sold to me for $500 less than the dealership was going to give him as a trade in.
I drove that to death and had lots of fun with it.
Next Vehicle ~ Full Size Ford Bronco must have been 1991 and the tailgates are famous for rusting out and mine surely did.
Next Vehicle ~ 1999 Black on Black Oldsmobile Aurora that I love and still own because it is paid for.
Current Vehicle ~ 2005 F-150 Ford King Ranch Pick-up. I guess my dad set the tone for me to be a truck drivin' girl.

Our son's first car-2001 Ford F150 four-door pickup. We just got it for him two weeks ago. He's pretty excited. Makes me feel old.
