Whenbeamer and I are at Temptation, we already paid for food and drinks at Temptation and don't have the luxury of eating and drinking at places other than Temptation.
I got some awesome footage with my GoPro. Just make sure you use a red filter, it will make all the difference on how it looks later.
Has anyone tried Crococun zoo about 30 minutes away on the Tulum road? they have fantastic trip advisor reviews. We may give this a try in May. We also recommend going to isla Mujeres and getting a cart for the day ' great fun :uk1:
We've always enjoyed Playa Del Carmen for the shops on 5th street, and the huge, beautiful beach. Snorkeling at Akumal is amazing as well, and you don't need a special tour to do it. Rent the gear for $15 for the day, pick a cozy spot on the beach, and go! I agree the beach in Tulum is amazing and the ruins are worth seeing, but it is a longer trip down the coast.
