Can anyone tell me if they play music by the pool or not and if so what type of music? A few songs that you may have heard there would be appreciated.

Music from 10 AM to 5 PM by Sexy Pool.

All Kinds of Music. Starts kinda spa like then goes into party music, dance, country or whatever Rafa feels like.

    Quiet Pool. No Music.

At the sexy pool they play relaxing music in the morning. Like the Boys tabernachle choir singing "Stairway to Heaven" - No really I'm serious, they do.

Then after the daily activities, around 3:30, they play loud, normally rap, music.

At the quiet pool, they have musical rocks. Not rock and roll,, speakers that look like rocks, and play funeral parlor music all day.

Back me up folks, am I lying???

    Yep, you're right.
The music in the morning is sorta like being at the spa, or elevator music.
Maybe they're thinking most of us are nursing hangovers.
You know what, they might be right!!

I was subject to that early moning "elevator music" , and it was depressing as hell! The last day I was there last November, and I had to leave for the airport in a few hours , they were playing the "Chanting Monks" CD that came out in the early 90's, and it was HORRID! : Endless chanting, and bad versions of Simon and Garfunkle and Beatle tunes by a bunch of monks! And they played it for a long time, like they had CD 1 & 2!? I mean, even Neil Diamond would have been better then that! I'm taking Nazareth's Greatist Hits, the Doobie Brothers, and Led Zeppelin IV with me next month, and will give them to the music guy with a $100 peso note to be spared from torture like that again! :banghead:

I will back you up on that except they start normal music earlier than 3:30. They play club music not really much rap except popular songs.
It's a like a "house music" party frm noon to 5.
