Keep it until you replace it. Ride it before you get rid of it.

All the pics of the 2000 are from 2010, the bike was SPOTLESS. I unfortunately could not bring it back from Hawaii. I believe I sold it with only 7,000 miles in 2010.

Its funny now looking at the bike, it looks so small compared to my 1000. I had it Dyno'd at 145 or so at the wheel for a 750. Amazing power out of that bike. Mind you my CBR is putting 170+ at the crank, the 750 @ 100 pounds less still felt like it put more power down under 100 MPH.

I went to Edit and deleted the whole post by accident.

The CBR is crazy fast. I can tell you though I felt more comfortable on the GSXR's. I prefer the raspy engines of the 750 and below compared to the torque of the 1000. 17,000 redline is so much better then 14,000. Mind you, the CBR has a power band from 2,000 - 14,000, when I am cruising with smaller bikes I can pull ahead in 6th when they are in 4th.

I still prefer them. Don't get me wrong though the CBR is an amazing bike. The HESD is the most incredible stock part on it. Its a Honda Electronic Steering Damper. Based on the speed and angle of the bike it automitcally adjust the steering damper as it sees fit. Coming from GSXR's only which have a stock steering damper I would hate to ride a bike without one. Everyone I know has had a tank slapper not on a GSXR, which is a mediocre steering damper at best. Mind you, loading it with a heavier oil will improve its performance. With the Honda HESD though I am more then impressed with its ability and ingenuity as it adjusts based on conditions.
