Restaurant Tour Hi Barry, Yes and in fact, they've added another day. They used to do it only on Fridays, but they've added Tuesdays too!! We missed it. We arrived on Friday and completely forgot to sign up for the Tuesday tour. Definitely next time. Everyone raves about it. P.S..--- we are actually thinking of going back in August possibly for 2 weeks. Jayson will be getting some unexpected inheritence money from the sale of his father's house. I'm SO keeping my fingers crossed. Jayson just uploaded the pictures, FINALLY.. So I'll have my trip report done some time this weekend. Enjoy!!!
Denise, we are so over due for this vacation. We normally try to go twice a year, but missed our fall trip last year. Great news about the tour. I WILL NOT miss it this year!! We love the Moon. Its become our second home!
Traveler's tip Be careful of the buses and the taxi’s. From this resort you have to rely on them heavily to go anywhere else. The cost given is $17 for a taxi but it is actually closer to $40 per person each way :shock: Is this true?? I copied it from some web site.
From moonpalace.com: Most rates I've seen recently is from $14 to $18. I don't see that you really have to rely on them unless you don't want to stick to the free shuttle schedule.
Micheal.. that's awesome!! We paid $20.00 each way in April. More incentive for us to go back this summer. Kids stay free and cheap taxi rides!!!!! Thanks for the tip..

Haven't heard anything recently...except now Palace guests who like water parks can have free access to the Wet n' Wild Nizuc park at the southern end of Cancun. http://www.palaceresorts.com/Press/ParqueNizuc.asp Change in ownership of the park? I hope so. The last ones trafficked in some wild dolphins in years past and wound up killing one or two or 'em.
