Re: Trip report In Cancun, I think the Riu Cancun still has liquor dispensers. There was a pic of one in janie's TR, but looks like she deleted it (it's an older TR). If that's a consideration for you, check the Riu Cancun hotel thread further down in the forum.

I remember reading that the dispensers were either ruined or stolen during of the hurricane. They apparently are replacing them, but there is currently more demand than supply.
Ugh. Thieving like that even in such an isolated area. I guess there's no way to tell if any investigation came up with some suspects.
