yes, of course... your card fees are much higher than ours... not trying to be negative, just cautious.
I didn't take it negative, no worries, have to listen to people who are more experienced than myself, I would be a fool not to. Nah it is not about the card charges, I just want the money physically so I don't go overboard or lose my card.
i agree dennis taking 3,000 is crazy, if ure going for 2 weeks 1500 should be plenty, take that and keep the rest in ure checking and take it out as u need it that way ull tend to spend less plus if someone takes it out of ure room or u lose it or whatever thats it its gone and ure not getting it back at least with the atm u know its there, also i suggest going out at nite not to carry alot of money take a hundred and keep ure card
I still don't understand why you guys would travel with so much cash. You're going to another country, taking long flights with other people handling your bags. Housekeeping will be in your room when you are not there. You're going to leave all this cash in a hotel room that you will not be in 80% of the time. And if it's gone, it's gone. I say bring some cash to get you started, but use your ATM card to get more. Take out what you need for the night, and leave the card at the hotel.
