Miss Universe Pageant Coming to Cancun?

    Wasn't the Miss Universe pageant in Cancun back in 1989? When we went to Cancun in 1997, they had a plaque next to the elevator on our floor at the Condesa that said that Miss Italy, Miss Aruba and another country that I don't remember stayed there during the pageant. I think the swimsuit part of the pageant may have been filmed there that year.
