I always say, good things come to good people...and good people go to Temptation (just made that one up.). That's just us throwing a little good karma your way.

What's going on is frustrating but it was an entertaining thread - which is one of the reasons I love this website. Good Luck anyway. We voted 5 times between work, home and laptops.

Haha, I like that, Bullet. Good people DO go to Temptations, which is why we end up there multiple times per year even though we know we *should* be using our vacation to explore the rest of the world. I just can't imagine there are as many fun people in Rome or Greece as there are in this one little resort in Cancun. :lol:

It has been an entertaining thread, and it definitely reminded me how much I love this site--and how many work hours I wasted a few years back contributing to the legendary February 2007 thread. Good god, I owe my employer some wages for those few months.

Actually, I think you're right, it was 2006. GEEZ, we've been going here FOREVER. But yeah, that was pretty much the most insane week ever.

 

sunlover79 You have my sympathy. I think that May was the only month out of the whole year so far that the votes have not gotten into the 700+ range. The only "bending of the rules" I did was sneak into every one of my coworkers offices while they were in the coffee room to vote for myself with their email addresses. (I would have just made them vote for me but I do not think my employer would have been receptive to the competition). Instead, CancunCare and my facebook friends made up most of the votes that month. I guess that all the contestants back then were computer illiterate.

We were really hoping to meet you in January too. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a last minute victory. If I come across any more computers you can be sure I will use my coworkers emails again!
