This is one of the sweetest messages I have ever received--thank you so much I'm afraid of starting to take this thing too seriously (it's just my competitive nature--not because I really think it's so important to win--and it doesn't help that my husband keeps showing me the tally every 10 minutes) so nice messages like this help me to keep it all in perspective. I'm a little drunk from watching the Bears' devastating performance this evening. Good thing I read Waste's warning about drunken viennese oystering, as I'd hate to have to explain that injury to my chiropractor. :lol:

I think I can talk myself into pretty much anything... The issue is I sometimes have problems talking myself out of stuff... It's been so long, she doesn't flinch anymore. Well, there was that night I came home early frpm a 5 day trip... She flinched, let out a silent scream, saw a few flashes of some great memories and also lost a little bladder control.

Thank you... I get a lot of practice with Baby Waste... I try telling him a couple stories every night... Some nights, like last night, I only have time for 1 story because he keeps interrupting with questions. It took me forever to explain firewall, foreplay and Viennese Oyster to him.

Again, joking... He had to explain foreplay to me...

I moved just north of you to Georgetown. A lot of old people tell a lot of stories at the local wateringholes. I guess I've been learning from some of the best.

I call BS! You know you would be proud of that injury. It tops twisting a shoulder playing non-contact water basketball any day!

I'm off... need to find a local chiropractor to brag to. Have a good weekend all!

 

You've got my vote from home and at the office. You arrived on the last day of one of our trips a few years ago and I remember what a natural beauty you are. So you got my 2 votes. Could have given you the votes out of pity since you had to endure watching your whiney tool QB Cutler throw 5 INT's last night BUT you got them because you deserve to be Miss Temptation.

Wow, was that a reference to Dustin's "injury" that kept him resort-bound while Jamie whisked me off to an Isla Mujeres cruise that nearly ended in a watery grave for all of us? (*flashback to Scott hanging on to the ropes for dear life while singing a boozy version of the Gilligan's Island theme song*) You have a fine memory, my friend. You're also a keen judge of character since you're totally right that I would flaunt that injury to my chiropractor. In fact, I'd probably bring in the pdf of the position to make sure he realized how impressive a feat it was. :lol:

The last-minute interception by the 49ers was an especially painful punch in the gut. It makes me so sad--I look forward to football season all summer while my coworkers talk about baseball...all excited about our new QB...aaand they still blow. Oh well. Go Bulls.

Yeah I was thinking the other day after I read you message about the near death experience last time we met that you seem to have one of those everytime we get together. :shock: Then there was the time your car blew up on the way to another party I was at...... No wonder I haven't seen you for a few years.... :cry:

OMG, Jamie. I forgot about our car blowing up on the way to Ohio. I never realized it before, but you always seem to be involved when something disastrous happens to me. Don't take this the wrong way, but maybe I should avoid you from now on. :shock:
