Miss Temptation week posts

We'll do this one at a time...we're busy getting back from an amazing vacation and meeting EVEN more amazing friends!!!

One word is best described as 3 actually...shameless self promotion. BUT, there were no crowd/employee/guest votes...hmmm............

 

Does anyone else find it weird that a father would be cheering for his daughter while she is in a thong and bra?

...Our perspective from a couple who were there, but not part of the Miss Temptation stuff...

We met most of the husbands/boyfriends as soon as we arrived. They are a great bunch of guys and we felt instantly welcomed to hang out with them. Most of them we had chatted with on this wonderful site. The girls were on their excursion when we got there, so we didn't get to meet any of them. Later in the trip, we met most of the girls. Some were extremely friendly and some didn't talk to us; which neither of us have a problem with. Sometimes you make a connection with people and sometimes you don't.

The girls that hung out together seemed like they all got along really well, as did their sig's. While there, we never saw Echo or her crew IN the sexy pool. We saw her quite a few times with her hula hoops by the towel hut, but never in the water and never with the other girls. Like I said, sometimes you make connections...

If the other girls seemed "Clickish," it was because the hotel had seats by the pool for them to all (well, almost all) sit together. They DID interact a lot with us regular guest,though.

The Finale was really cool; the resort dida great job and it was very entertaining. The girls all looked amazing!! Echo did seem to have a upper hand over the other girls, though. She was popular during the show finale, from my perspective. But I personally thought she seemed like the Feature twirler for a marching band with her "lesser" twirlers on the poles. I feel like it was a slap in the face to the other girls to make them come out 2 at a time to dance on the poles that were on either side of the stage, yet she came out solo in the middle of the stage to do her routine. That being said, people clearly cheered a lot for her, although her being from Canada brought many of the cheers. (Canada was representing this week!! It was great!!)

It really did seem to me that the contest was predetermined and after talking to many of the other contestants, they felt the same way. And if anyone remembers, there was a controversy with the voting with her month, as it were.

I don't want to "Echo bash" with my post. I'm just giving my feelings on the contest. She really was beautiful and clearly talented, but it was ridiculous how she was given preferential treatment over the other girls. If this is the case, from now on, TTR just needs to get pro dancers and supermodels to promote the contests, not just smoking hot "Real" guests that went to have a blast at the coolest hotel in Cancun... Just my opinion...

 

Well said and thank you Glen and Susie...some of the ladies really did question if the "preferential" treatment was just in their heads. I think they'll be glad to see others (as I and quite a few others) that were involved in no way suspected

 

Echo has sent me an apology and I accept it. I want to help her turn this thing around. Just remember the trouble started mostly with dirty boy and not Echo.

Quick question... What is the relationship between Dirty boy and Echo? Husband, Fiancee, boyfriend, friend, family member or ?

Echo's lengthy and sincere apology has earned our forgiveness and respect.
She has taken the time to self critique and assume responsibility for her actions and this is more than we expected. I am not so sure anyone would have passed up the additional opportunities she received so we must remember separate TTR annoyances and individual missteps.
We both want to wish Echo the very best in the future and hope she keeps working on sharing her inner beauty as well as her obvious aesthetics.
We look forward to seeing you actually getting to know you better sometime in the future.
