PM me all you need to. Unfriendly vibe continues to manifest? I have said NOTHING unfriendly to anyone... I am and have been, AND will continue to be an active member of Steves board and a REPEAT client of TTR. It has been a LONG day, I WILL continue with this in the morning...

I see nothing wrong with partying and enjoying your free week and nothing wrong with instead spending the week campaigning for votes. To each their own.

Now the name calling above about the other contestants seems like a line was crossed. I know if I was in their shoes I wouldn't appreciate that post. There may have been a better way to make your point. We have met bill/mindi back in feb and didn't find them to be at all how you describe them.

Regardless, let's hope everyone can understand both sides of the discussion and move from the name calling to instead sharing stories and pics. Those of us working their asses off and freezing in the cold need to live vicariously though you all. Congrats to echo for winning and the other contestants for taking full advantage of the free week (I know we would have) :) peace out

It is freezing in New York thats for sure... I just want to congratulate every single one of the ladies, there are thousands and thousands of people that visit there each year and to be one of the handfull of ladies recognized at the end of the year is a great accomplishment in itself, So Congratulations to all the ladies.

To be clear, I am not saying that any of the girls were snobs...while we were out on the beach a group of people made that comment while she was attempting to teach them how to hula hoop...

We came down with the same intentions as the rest of the group...we were there to meet some new friends and enjoy the experience, and to compete...

I'm not here trying to trade insults with anyone, or cause any more ruffled feathers...I merely relayed what we heard over and over about the clique that formed out of the other contestants...we made alot of new friends there as well, and had some fun times while we were there...it's unfortunate that things went the way they did, but overall I don't think it was that bad for us...I had some of the contestants say hi to me personally, and some of their guests, but I honestly don't even know most of your names...i guess you could say the onus may have been on me to be more outgoing, but when you're trying to win a popularity contest, the onus tends to be more on those seeking to be popular...

When only one out of twenty people came to say congratulations to echo, that kind of speaks volumes as to the attitude of the group...she would have happily said congratulations to any one of the other contestants had they won, regardless of the ongoings of the week...where I'm from that's basic manners, and taught not only at home when you're raised, but in schools as well...win gracefully, lose gracefully...

so we opted to not sit with 19 potentially bitter people while we try to enjoy our meal... Perhaps that seems rude to some people, but would you really want to sit with a large group of people who you don't feel comfortable with?

I'm sorry... but lets get serious... who would kindly say Congratulations to someone who has legitimately gone out of their way have nothing to do with you. I am not just speaking about Echo either... you have been rude and very stand-offish to everyone. If we are talking about basic manners then why did all of the competitors get along so well... even before the winner was announced?? Basic manners is being polite and friendly when people try to say Hi to you. If I try to be welcoming and introduce myself to someone.. and then they act like a complete jerk and ignore my every attempt to be nice.. why would I continue to be friendly to someone who is so disrespectful.
It has nothing to do with the fact that Echo won. You chose to make enemies with the group so don't get upset with the consequences. This has NOTHING to do with winning and losing... our negativity towards one another was determined after the first few days. We were all just grateful for being a part of the competition and having a chance to return to the resort for a fun experience.. we were already winners.

Really? I guess manners in the west are taken a little more seriously...

I hated most of my teachers growing up, and it was mostly mutual, but we were skews polite...when I played competitive sports with people I absolutely hated, at the end of every game, win or lose, we all shook hands...when I play pool for cash money, in or out of sanctioned events, we trash talk eachother, call eachother horrible names, and mostly have a general dislike for eachother, but at the end of the night, we address eachother respectfully and shake hands...you ever had to give someone over a couple grand out of your own pocket cuz you lost, and had to shake their hand afterward? Doesn't sound like it...that's manners...

Like I said, win gracefully, lose gracefully...she would have congratulated any of the other girls in defeat...

Having met Bill and Mindy I am confident that they are not unfriendly. An observation based on these posts though... If everyone is getting along except for 1 person, is the problem the one or the other 11?

As to who won, honestly, really honestly, who cares?

Well said mike. He seems to be focused on a single moment. No explanations regarding what happened the rest of the week to make ten couples not interested in saying congrats.
