We were tied after regulation 2-2.

The shootout lasted forever, back and forth, back and forth.

Our goalie actually made a free kick to keep us alive. Mostly we had to make every free kick not to lose. Then he made a great save to give us a chance to win.

    We did.

It was something like 11-10 or 12-11 in the shootout. Incredible match.

It was 1-1 after normal time actually; I watched the penalty shootout with some Brazilian guys from work, and it was pretty intense, when the Brazilian missed at the end you could hear a cheer throughout the office.

Some cracking penalties, I hope the England coach was paying close attention!

Thanks for the correction PatoPan. My bad.

It was tough following the free kick count with my housekeeper screaming non stop.

One interesting note is that one of the Brasil player injured himself on a free kick and had to be carried off the "pitch" on a cart. Never saw that before.
