Mexican Citizenship - here I come

    I am wondering what happens to people they kick out of the country regarding Hacienda :?:

    Steve...or anyone with knowledge..
    A friend is applying for their FM3 renewal and they are married to a Mexican Citizen. What are the requirements that they must meet and the documents they need for renewal? Is is still income based if they are married to a Mexican citizen?

    They still have to show financial strength. The Mexican needs to show that he/she is gainfully employed, but the requirement for how much income they make is lower (I think) than what one must show as a rentista. My hubby is Mexican and when we came here we didn't have jobs, so we showed our US bank statements which proved we had foreign income/money.
