jason, this goes way back beyond bush. this started in the 50's when fidel first started the revolution. i believe castro is probably the furthest thing from bushes mind right now..although with his ill health, he may want to start thinking about it. cause when he goes things arent gonna be pretty.
Oh for sure, our problems with cuba do go way back! But I mean the reason people have so much hatred towards the united states! Bush!
well, to be honest, im not sure thats the only reason jason. but he definately has not helped matters in the last 6 years
I disagree, can't blame Bush for everything. It's more complicated. Not to start another big debate but just to remind everyone of the facts: Iran took American hostages at the US embassy in 1979 during Carter's Presidency. Many Europeans protested and despised the U.S. for putting Missiles on the content in the 8o's during the Regan years (even though this helped to bring down the USSR). The first attact on the WTC, the USS Cole, Black Hawk down, etc., occurred during the Clinton years. All this to despite the fact America provides millions upon millions of foreign aid, each year even to those that hate us…
That's not quite true, Jason. It is with US flights (ands Canadian too I believe) but not so with flights from the UK. I know many people who have to pay in at departure so make sure you have the $$ set aside. It can be paid in US dollars or pesos.
Departure Tax. International departure tax from Cancun Airport is approximately US$40. This tax is often included in the price of your airline ticket. Ask your travel agent. If it is not included in the price of your ticket, you must pay the departure tax at the airport when checking-in for your flight. The tax must be paid in cash. No credit cards or checks are accepted.
