Men--- don't leave your women unattended ...

I read this same review and as a woman it doesn't make sense to me either? Yes, it is possible but..... The place is all tile and marble, the first thing I would do is SCREAM! How would nobody hear her? There are tons of people around the lobby especially at night. These three men mysteriously disappearred? It is a small resort. Guys? if this happened to your woman would your first move not be to inform security or the front desk immediately? Find these bastards and want to nail them to the effin' wall? :deadhorse:Or would you not tell anyone and wait til you got home and advertise it on TA so these "3 guys" can potentially do it to someone else? PLEASE, it just makes NO logical sense to me as a woman.:ranting1:

 

I had a drunk fellow get pretty grabby with me in the co-ed part of Paty-O's bathroom in December, so while we can never know for sure whether the review was true, I do think that can be a bit of a dodgy spot, especially late at night.

 

I agree with Karen.. take a friend with you, just to be sure.

Everyone ever witness how busy a women's bathroom is, we never go to the bathroom alone. I think it's bullshit, and why wouldn't they advise staff of it. Don't worry women your still safe there. Just people trying to stir up the already out of hand fear of Mexico.

 

I very rarely go to the coed bathroom near patyo's. My room is usually closer since it's right there too and then i also get to cool off while I pee.

 

Last year our room was next to patyo's..I don't even know where the bathroom is that everyone is talking about! In any case I feel very safe at that resort but if that really did happen and if that guy was my man I'd dump his ass for the way he handled the situation!

 

Monique, I managed to end up alone in the co-ed bathroom area with that fellow late at night. So while I agree that generally women's bathrooms are hubs of activity , all you need is one bad apple to take advantage of a quiet moment when a woman finds herself alone. Craig and Rene will be accompanying me to the washroom area on this trip, even though I do feel very safe at TTR in general.

Also, drunk people can develop a gang mentality and do things in a group that they would never do alone (witness the Vancouver hockey riots).

 

I am guilty of going by myself to the Lobby RR, but I do let someone know where I am going as well as if I go back to my room for something or wont be returning for the night. My friends do the same with me. I see it as a common courtesy and safety measure.

 

Me to, but as its been said there will be more than 200 of us CC people everyone has each others backs.
