we've always thought it was a bit odd that it was ok to get nude at the encouragement of the entertainment staff......and stay nude for a considerable amount of time..........but getting nude on your own is somehow not permitted........... A bit odd really!

There are no sites on the net that are actually advertising or state that GOV is or will be clothing optional. I do personally know some of the new GOV management team and they have continually stated that effective after the concept change in late Dec: 1. Topless optional only at one of the pools - clothing optional and open PDA/PDS in public areas are not allowed 2. They do not now have a couples only policy and will not have couples only policy after the concept change No matter what the TA sites you have visited say or reply to you with inaccurate speculative information, the only information that actually counts is the information that the GOV management provides on their official website or to Steve in person, who will let everyone know here.
Not wanting to pay for a room safe may seem petty, but that coupled with the 1:00 am shutdown doesn't really catch our interest. Wouldn't mind trying someplace different for a change, but I need to at LEAST get the same basic amenities that we get at TTR.
Looking at booking in February and have mixed info on rooms. Could you please ask what the difference is between the spice, flirt and seduction rooms? As well which rooms come with balconies. Thanks for meeting with the resort and sorting this all out for all of us! As well can you find out the details on the "kinky pirate dinner cruise"? Apparently it sails on Thursday evenings and is included in the Grand pricing! Thanks Steve!

I'll make a new thread with the answers, probably tomorrow night. I'm probably not going to get a definitive answer to every single question but hopefully we'll be able to start separate fact from rumor.
