In 12 days I will be enjoying all the great people and buying them drinks. This is one of the times that I will buy the whole resort a drink. Hey, I already paid for it. LOL
OK... not sure what your local source was refering to, but at the resort, they filter their own water and any water used on site is filtered and perfectly safe for use. Taste funny but safe. As Candi said, they will give you a bottle a day in your room. You can get it refilled at any bar or resturant. Water used off the resort should be only from a bottled source that you open the bottle. Basic rule of thumb is that if the ice has a hole it's safe. When servered a bottle always wipe any liquid from the top as it may have been chilled in ice water from a questionable source. Jamie

There is bottled water in your fridge and it is supplied daily as long as you take it out of the fridge before they come to fill it. The hotel water is fine too.
Advice is don't go to the Golden Parnassus anymore. You have found a new hotel. Say hi to all the cancuncare folks and have fun. Chat with everyone. I think you will find this a very different trip. Oh by the way See you there. We will be there from the 23rd -30th.
