Newbies here!! We will be there May 2nd-8th we are very excited, this is our first trip to Cancun!

 

Hey guys, just registered here. 4 of us, two couples, (brother, sister and partners) flying in on 30th April for 13 nights from the UK. All in our 50's with two birthdays to celebrate while we're there.
We've partied all over the Med so it's time to go Tropicaaaaaaaaaaal
Any newbie advice gratefully received

 

Well welcome to the tropics and to the best vacation you've ever had. I'll add you to the Roll Call, under the other post, but maybe you can help with a little information, First, get an avatar up so we can recognize you when you get there, I'll put that into the roll call too. Then let me have your first names so we know what to call you. Then... when are the birthdays, and who's, so I can add them so we don't miss them....

OK.. I can be demanding huh? But I'll looking to make sure you have the maximum fun.

Hey Jamie thanks for the welcome
Bit of a problem with pics, my PC fried 2 days before Xmas so I lost them but I'll have a look through some discs in the next day or so and find something. Anyhow, I'm Bill, 56, my partner is Nancy who's birthday is the 11th. Her brother John (a real character and up for it all). He hits the big 50 on the fifth, and his partner Geraldine, 50. We are from Newcastle on Tyne in the UK and we should be in resort by 15:30 on the 30th April after a 12 hour flight so that will have to be an early night, no later than 3am
We're really looking forward to this one

 

Hi Guys

Think we might be on the same flight - are you flying from Manchester? If we are on the same flights (something like 9.30 leaving Manchester) you won't be in resort for 15.30! The transfer takes the longest route possible and drops at all the hotels further south first!:cry: Should be in for more 5pm! We're looking at doing our own transfer to avoid this!

It's our third trip and we're sooooooooo looking forward to it!!

Hi,
I think we may be on the same plane, we get on at Newcastle then it goes to Manchester.
We booked the premium seats and it said as part of the package that we were guaranteed 1st or 2nd drop off on the transfer so maybe they use a different coach ?
Anyhow I'll be able to pick your brains on the way out
If they do I'll have a couple of cold ones waiting for you when you arrive :aktion069:
