I agree almost....We don't get past Diego's often but we usually sneak in a quick trip to Walmart for a few necessities. But we try to do it early in the morning, or when it is raining. We would hate to miss something     :beergone:
Oh plan was to check to check out Martket 28 then go swin with the dolphin. Does anyone know where's the closest Dolphin swim location from Market 28? How far if to take the bus from Market 28 to Dolphin swim?
Market 28 is downtown in the city, there are no dolphin swims near there Check out my page at: Dolphin Swims in Cancun for all the dolphin swim locations, options and videos.
i love Market 28!! haggling is fun, especially since many of the shops have the same thing. they say 1,000 pesos, you start at 250. the best deal i got was one shopkeeper really liked my watch (2 year old $25 WalMart special!). we walked out 3 times before he made the deal good enough. wanted $80 for some jewelry and several other things we were looking at, and i only paid $20 plus a watch i really didn't care about. it helps if you can speak some spanish.
One piece of advice... If you want to haggle at Market 28 do NOT wear any nice jewelry. It seems to upset the shopkeepers if you are haggling when it "looks" like you could afford to pay the full price.
I quit going to the markets because it's all the same stuff and the store operators won't leave you alone. You have to see for yourself though. We just go to Wal-Mart now.
