Just did a quick airfare check. Airfare to New Oleans from NYC this year is like $550. Yikes.

You must book early to get good deals.

 

last years mardi gras at margaritaville was def not as good as the past ones at pat obriens, way too small and no crazyness like at pat obriens

 

Don't forget to check with Amtrack. Most of us die hard drunks ride the train down to New Orleans and start the party on the train. We book a sleepercar room with the beds in it and party all the way down. By the time we would actually get to New Orleans, we would have made a ton of new friends to hang out with. I think it's ALOT more fun to ride the train down.......

so when is the first mardi gras party for me?? i arrive on the 6th of march and im there till the 20th.im guessing from past posts its on the wed at patrick o'brians or something like that, am i right???
