I get it if they schedule a special event during the normally closed hours but to restrict paying customers access during normal hours of operation is crap.
IF CTT is a facebook group of TTR regulars (that may used to be here on CCC) then its not really a take over. Just a large group of mid April attendees that we probably know. We just dont trust FB enough to be on there like on here. Just a guess.. been wrong a time or two before.
The hotel has 2 seasons, which now seem to change sometimes from year to year. The room rates change accordingly. High season is around Dec 1 (exact date???) thru mid/late April (used to be thru first week of April). Low season is the rest of the year. They sometimes do not want to discuss this and like to quote a room rate for the entire week especially if week overlaps high and low seasons...this has happened to us a few times. Of course take overs have their own arranged room rates and you have to book thru them and also fees for attending their activities/parties.
Never heard of them...interesting and will have Rayanne check them out and report back if anything different or interesting.
I believe Don has mentioned that they were limited to reserve those areas only when not in use for this exact reason. It was an issue that was a trial end error thing. Same with the catamaran. They had it the same day as boo s cruise but that won't be the case this upcoming April.
$20 and you can go up there. We were there during the last takeover. The parties up there are lame and ended by 9pm.
CCT do more than just visit TTR. They have been around for sometime. Yes they do visit TTR as one of their destinations and some are even members. No they have nothing to do CCC other than some may be on here lie the rest of us. Some of them last Year was their first time at the resort.
Yes it is $20 to go up unless you are a member or staying in the tower. But there are times during a takeover there can be private events happening that allow only guests of the takeover up. Also when they do an evening event up top it can make Bash a pretty quiet night. An a positive note they generally bring a special guest DJ that will run the music at Bash for an evening or 2.
They have been going there in April since before the Reno’s. Halifax Dan is a member, we met a few more last year.
