You can get access to the rooftop for $20. We were there for the takeover in May but honestly it’s not worth paying it because everyone stays in the sexy pool anyways.
takeovers are so much fun because you get all the wild and crazy party people. There is a big group of people (CTT group) that is going 4/15-4/20 and a full bash tower takeover group 4/28-5/3. We will be there 4/28. What prices are you seeing for April?
yes it was, I don't understand the takeover- isn't it just a big group booking?? or not lol i'll see if we'r can change dates if it's going to change the price significantly denied access to what? just the Skybar? I don't care about that- much more fun in the pool!
a bunch of people that invade TTR at once. It’s a secret FB page CTT is crazy travelers talk of TTR enthusiasts. That group is also going during Halloween
Usually a Bash Tower takeover means that the organizer of the event books all of the bash tower rooms for specific dates. If you want to go during that time AND stay in a tower room, you will have to book through the organizers website but it’s usually super expensive. You can always book any of the other rooms in the resort through TTRs website or 3rd party site such as Expedia. regarding the skybar, it’s empty most of the time because all the crazy stuff is going on in the main pool.
We love SkyBar. They have the best food at lunchtime, and the views are spectacular. We, personally, would not book during a takeover that barred other guests from accessing SkyBar all week.
We will never go back during a takeover. They held thier own parties at night in the Skybar a couple times and resulted in Bash being dead.
