On the fence now, less than 20 days till TTR and doesn’t seem like the coronavirus spread is slowing down at all. School district just announced closing up all school within the district starting Monday 16th in Cali.
Well I guess we are rescheduling now after today’s announcements on non essential trips. I tried to convince myself that this is very essential but my conscience won.
Sadly we have to reschedule for a later date . We originally scheduled to arrive on April 29 for 7 days of fun. Everything is locking down here in Ontario Canada and a level 3 travel advisory in place .
Well the mommy gene kicked in and were going to have to cancel. Our schools just closed for a month which is absolutely ridiculous. We could get people to watch the kids but "mom" wants to be around in case things actualy do get bad. I say that as a joke, bless all you mothers and your motherly instincts. If it was left up to us guys our kids would probably be wearing underwear 2 sizes too small and eating fruit loops for dinner. Hope every one who makes it has a incredible time and those that have to cancel can make it in the fall when all back to normal.
We chose to reschedule our trip as well. Too many moving pieces to this. Hopefully we can reschedule for June!
For those canceling, is the resort refunding your money or will they reschedule for another date without a penalty?
The resort gave me resort credit to use at another time. They said when I was ready to book again just call them to make the reservation. Their customer service has been awesome throughout this process!
