March 2011 Roll Call

Ok, now that February is all sorted it's time to turn to March and look for Booze Cruise dates.

Seems to be quite a bit of interest in Sunday 6th March, the roll call suggests we have around 34 people there (counting 2 persons per username) on the 6th so hopefully at least 25 of those will be interested in a cruise.

Due to the high amount of no shows in the past I'm now asking for a $25 deposit per person in advance. If we dont reach 25 people by one week before then the cruise wont go ahead and all deposits will be refunded. So we have about 3 weeks to get the numbers together.

I'll also be sending a PM to all those at the hotel on that day to let them know.

 

Further cruise dates later in March will be announced about 4 weeks in advance.

As it looks right now there probably isnt enough folk around to run another one until the 16th -24th time frame. I saw interest for the 18th and for the 22nd but I think two cruises so close together may well end up both being below the numbers required, so it may have to be one cruise somewhere in the middle of those dates.

Will let the roll call build for a while and see how the numbers are looking in a week or so.

The 22nd is one of the likely dates, just a little worried that the folks that want to go on the 18th might not be able to make it and perhaps if we pulled it forward by a day or two from the 22nd we might be able to accomodate both groups for the same cruise. But I'll look at it and do some detailed figures in about a week to 10 days.
